The Sacramento Art Academy

I am pleased to announce the creation of The Sacramento Art Academy.  The only Art School in the Greater Sacramento area offering strong representational training.  The Academy is set up in such a way that it can grow quickly, and change as it takes on bigger players.

The Sacramento Art Academy is appropriately housed a few blocks from the California State capital.  It is time for representational artists and those who seek to learn it, have a place to go, and a voice in the community.

It is important to understand that THE SACRAMENTO ART ACADEMY DOES NOT think modernism or abstraction is invalid.  Rather, we embrace the tenant of post-modernism which allows for all art types in seeking artistic expression.  Since the modernism and abstraction are already over-served aspects of the art education in this region, we seek to teach the tools of foundational studies to even things out.

As the director and founder of Sacramento Art Academy, I was born and raised in Los Angeles, and spent the last 6 years in the San Francisco Bay Area.  I know artistic diversity, and embrace it!!

Folsom reminds me of Simi Valley

I have moved with my family to Folsom Ca.  It is a very good place.  We are astounded at how quickly things picked up and took off for us here.  I have about a million things happening, and I love it!
